Pearluma Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 23, 2026

Pearluma helps users track cosmetic teeth whitening progress with guided smile photos, cosmetic shade estimates, daily check-ins, and optional cloud sync. This policy explains what data may be collected, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Non-medical use: Pearluma is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or recommend care for dental or oral-health conditions.

Data We May Collect

How We Use Data

We use data to provide guided photo capture, cosmetic shade progress estimates, history, optional cloud sync, data export, deletion controls, support, service security, and product improvement. When cloud AI analysis is enabled, cropped smile images may be transmitted securely to Pearluma services for analysis. If AI analysis is unavailable, Pearluma uses a local fallback estimate and labels it accordingly.

Sharing And Service Providers

Pearluma may use cloud infrastructure and AI service providers only to operate app features, store or process user-requested records, maintain security, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.

Data Retention And Deletion

Users can clear local app data on their device and can request deletion of cloud records associated with their account email from the app. Deletion removes active Pearluma cloud check-in records tied to that account credential. Backups, logs, and provider-side records may take additional time to expire according to operational and legal requirements.

Children

Pearluma is not directed to children. Do not use Pearluma to submit a child's personal data unless you have the legal authority to do so.
